# who I am and how I got here
I trained as an electrical engineer, then taught myself to ship software. Over the last 6 years I've built and delivered web, mobile, and backend systems in production — for my own products and for clients.
Shipping real systems is what pulled me toward security. Once you've built the thing, you understand exactly where it breaks. So my security work centers on application security — assessing and hardening frontends, backends, and mobile apps with tools like Burp Suite, not chasing checklists.
Today I run Invalcre (Pvt) Ltd, designing software that's built to scale and secure by default. I recently completed an M.Sc. in Information Security in St. Petersburg, sharpening the offensive side of that work.
The path there ran through Russia — I moved for university, and a small problem, calling home to Zimbabwe cheaply, became my first attempt at building an app. It never shipped, but it started everything.

Software isn't shipped once — it's maintained. My GitHub is the running record of that: iterating, refactoring, and keeping projects alive over time.
